Dan and Annette Bowman were drawn at random as the winners from the many visitors who registered for a Kindle Fire during the Parade of Homes at Wild Oaks. It’s not the first time the couple took a chance at Grand Haven. About 10 years ago they bought a house sight-unseen as they were planning to relocate from California!
They worked with Grand Haven Sales Agent Karen Kull who said she was really thrilled when she learned her clients and friends Dan and Annette were the Parade of Homes winners.
“The Bowmans are great people and it’s really nice to see them still actively involved here at Grand Haven,” said Kull. “They took a chance on the community year’s ago and I’m really pleased to see it’s still paying off for them.”
According to Kull, Bowman’s sister and brother-in-law, who lived in Palm Coast, visited the Grand Haven Information Center some 10 years ago looking at places they thought Dan and Annette might like for a future home in Florida. Kull emailed information on a new ICI home and in short order the Bowman’s wrote a contact while still in California.
“It was contingent upon inspection but they loved it when they actually got here so it worked out nicely for them,” said Kull. “Dan’s sister also ended up purchasing a homesite on the Intracoastal Waterway so it really became a family affair.”
The Bowmans still live in Grand Haven and say they love their home and community. And their new Kindle Fire.
